5 years

5 years!!!

And the nightmare didn’t end??

It seems that I will never wake up *uhh* the 8th of April 2003, 8 PM, what did I drink? I can’t remember.

5 years!!!

Does that make me 5 years older or have I been dead all this time. Seriously, am I alive now?

5 years!!!

It makes it 1440 days without seeing the precious moon. Or did the moon and sun have a deal behind my back?

5 years!!

And the life goes on and my soul goes out, what an equation!!

Frankly speaking, I am tired from writing posts about the war and the situation, I am tired from complaining. 5 years of complaining and I have just read a quote that says” let’s complain less and give more” and that’s what I intend to do (GIVING MORE) so this is the first day of the rest of my life and I am not going to let the war or whatever force take away the rest of my dreams.

I am not going to let it go…

From where the fight took place

Dear HNK,
"Sorry" is worth practically nothing but I am so sorry. All I can do is pray for you and your family to be kept safe. I believe in you.
P.S. Human promises aren't worth much either but the moon is still there and will be waiting for you when peace comes. I'm sorry I don't know anything more to say.

I think you have the right attitude. Don't let this crazy war control you. That is easy for me to say cause I am not living under your conditions. Just try to write about good things in your life, like your family. I will pray for you and your family.

That sounds very brave, hnk. I hope you CAN ignore the pain and move foreward.
There is a saying about seeing a glass half full instead of half empty. If you can see the good things in your life and not the bad
things, it may make life easier. I wish you happiness dear hnk, like I always have.
you friend,

Libby

Dear Hnk, I agree with Libby. Even though things are really bad, if you can keep your thoughts on the few good things in your life, it will help you to cope and keep moving forward. Sometimes its hard for me to take my own advice. I tend to focus on negative things too. But, you know what? I have found that giving more helps me to feel better. I can't always help myself, but there are many opportunities to help others. So, I encourage you to try to give more. :) Take care.

Dear HNK,

Why dont u grow up!! Stop moaning and crying. 23 million Iraqis are facing this problem and you're not the only one. Actually u are much better off than many Iraqis....

You are studying, your family mostly are DRs and i am sure are paid well you are healthy...etc.

Look behind u please...and not infront of u...

There are many Iraqi children i know they have cancer..no proper medical care...no money .....orphans..etc..

Please write something usefull about daily life and stop this moaning!!!

You are not the ONLY PERSON IN IRAQ IN A NIGHTMARE!!!!

Do not worry HNK because
لكل شيئاً إذا ما تم نقصان
and that what we observe nowadays in your country. I am sure that Iraq will return as before and better maybe.

Hi
It was five years of total chaos and hardship under the occupation so I think it is normal to feel this way. I can read your feeling.

However, I am glad that you have promised yourself not to let this abnormal situation take you over.

I wish you and your family the best.

kind regards

Hi HNK,

Anonymus wrote you a comment at 1.43 am about moaning and crying... the paradox is that he or she admits in capitals (that means shouting) that the people in Iraq live in a nightmare. So you too and if you weren't moaning and crying it won't be a nightmare.

This post is one of hope because you're not to give it all up but to give more. I interprete the quote "giving more" as giving more than receiving. Use your education for the better.. Help us to make our world a better place!

Let us share your dreams to make Iraq a place to be... please

HNK take care,

Never give up. :) No matter what. Try to find the strength and faith to go on in life. Pretend to smile like you mean it, even if you don't feel like it. By pretending to be happy, you will feel at least a bit happy.

to change our pain we have to change what we look at. there is a path yhat eases pain. it is when we put some structure that gives reward into our lives. Prayer is comfort but human cannot live on prayer alone. Expand your blog to contain advertising and connect to other web places. Money cannot heal the torment of the heart but it can help it endure the injustices of life. Go commercial and as this writer once heard "the feet must be coverered with leather shoes to allow you to walk safely and my experience is the heart is stronger when it is acknowledged by a universal medium And that medium is $ paid when others hear you stories of lifes evolution...your lifes evolution. Good luck
reward yourself
